Student data

Student data should be treated carefully.

MyTeacherAide is designed to help teachers create useful classroom resources without needing to expose sensitive student information.

What teachers should enter

Teachers may use general, de-identified learning context, such as:

  • Year level
  • Curriculum area
  • Reading level
  • Learning needs
  • Classroom context
  • Differentiation requirements
  • Support or extension needs

What teachers should avoid entering

Teachers should avoid entering unnecessary personal information, including:

  • Full student names
  • Addresses
  • Medical details
  • Behaviour records with identifying details
  • Family circumstances
  • Any information that is not needed to create the resource

Our approach

MyTeacherAide is built around a simple principle:

Use the minimum student information needed to create the resource.

This helps teachers get more relevant outputs while reducing unnecessary privacy risk.
